Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 12 October 1986. Wright describes his early family life and religious experiences in Albany and Yonkers, New York. He talks of his courtship and interracial marriage, his conversion to the Mormon Church, and its influence on his present life.
